Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and why. This page is narrower: it is about your rights over that data and exactly how to exercise them.
If the two documents ever appear to disagree, the Privacy Policy governs.
The principles we work to
Collect the minimum. We ask for the least we need for the feature you are using. Where a feature works without personal data, it does not ask for any.
Use it only for the stated purpose. Data given for one reason is not repurposed for an unrelated one.
Keep it only as long as needed. When the purpose ends and no law requires us to retain it, it goes.
Never sell it. We do not sell personal information, and we do not trade it.
Be reachable. One email address handles every data request, and a person reads it.
Where your data comes from
Forms and tools. Quizzes, comparison tools, the newsletter signup and the contact form ask for information. What each one asks for is shown on the form itself. You decide whether to fill it in.
Browsing. Technical information is recorded automatically as you use the site: IP address, device and browser, pages viewed, referring source. This happens on essentially every website.

What we do not want
We do not seek sensitive data — racial or ethnic origin, religion, political opinion, health, sexual orientation, biometric or genetic data. If any reaches us through a free-text field, we delete it.
We do not collect card numbers or bank details. Nothing is sold on this site.
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
Who handles your data
Inside our organisation, access is limited to the people who need it for the task at hand.
Outside it, your data may be processed by service providers acting for us: hosting, email delivery, analytics and advertising partners. Each is bound to use it only for the service we engaged them for.
We disclose personal information beyond that only where the law requires it, where it is needed to protect someone’s safety or rights, or where it is needed to defend the site against fraud or abuse.
Where a partner receives your information because you chose to proceed with one of their offers, they become responsible for it under their own policy. Read that policy before you submit anything to them.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
Confirm whether we hold personal information about you.
Give you a copy of it, in a portable format where that applies.
Correct anything inaccurate or out of date.
Delete it, unless a law requires us to keep it.
Restrict or stop a particular use of it.
Withdraw consent you gave earlier. This does not undo processing that already happened lawfully.
Tell you who we shared it with.
Object to processing based on our legitimate interests, including profiling for advertising.
You will not be treated differently for exercising any of these rights.
Which law applies to you
BeeTopDeals is operated from Canada. Our baseline for handling personal information is PIPEDA, the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act, which gives you the right to access the information we hold about you and to challenge its accuracy.
We have readers elsewhere, and their local law gives them rights too. We recognise those rights rather than pointing at our own location as a reason not to.
European Economic Area and United Kingdom — the GDPR and UK GDPR apply to you. You may also complain to your national supervisory authority.
California — the CCPA as amended by the CPRA applies to you: the right to know, to delete, to correct, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in that law.
Elsewhere — write to us regardless. We run the same process on every request we receive, wherever it comes from.
How to make a request
Email [email protected] with the subject line Data Protection Request.
Include what you are asking for and enough information for us to identify your records — typically the email address or phone number you used on the site.
We may need to verify your identity before we act, particularly for deletion or access requests. This protects you: it stops someone else obtaining or erasing your data.
We respond within the period the applicable law sets, normally 30 days, and we will tell you if we need longer.

Security
We use HTTPS across the site, access controls on our systems, and established infrastructure providers with their own security programmes.
No system is completely secure and we will not pretend otherwise. If a breach occurs that puts your rights at risk, we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires.
International transfers
Our providers operate in several countries, so your information may be processed outside the country you live in. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure it stays protected to the standard described here.
